J F Sanfilippo`s Restaurant in Saint Louis

The ravioli with meat and the spaghetti with meat sauce tasted like one step above Chef Boyardee. For a restaurant specializing in Itialan cuisine, it should not resemble something that comes out of a can. Service was good.The hostess or any other staff should never come up to someone’s baby and start touching without asking. She even was touching her face and mouth. Disgusting, where were her hands before touching our baby?

Food was excellent. Service fantastic for a party of more than 20, including kids and teens.

Based solely off the fact I was denied Reservations due to a conference. If I call more than a week in advance it doesn't matter what is going on you shouldn't choose who you want to serve. Completely changed my bday plans due to them Thankfully Lucus Park was able to take me.

This place was horrible! We were a group of five and when we arrived we were the only party in the restaurant. Several other large parties arrived after us and received their food before us and left. The rolls we received were frozen in the middle and the calamari wasn't cooked thoroughly. After an hour and a half of being in the restaurant we still didn't receive our food. The only reason I'm giving it ONE STAR is because of the server named Stacy. She was excellent even through our complaints and disappointments. I do not recommend dining at this establishment.

A one star is more then this place actually deserves. Our waitress Stacey was outstanding, but that was the only part of the experience that deserves high ratings. After sitting in the restaurant well over an hour, leaning very close to two hours, we never received our entrees, requested to speak with the manager and he chose not to come speak with our table. The sad part of this experience is every group that arrived after us received their appetizers, entrees, and bills before we even got our salads. This was a horrible experience and it was clear that we were not valued as customers.

The food was delicious! I would recommend it to anyone. I will definitely come again.

Walked in and literally no one was there in the restaurant which should have been my first signal. Below average food and service, I wouldn't waste your money.

From NY and NE, we had a family anniversary dinner here Thursday, Aug 30. We all thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered: drinks, wine, and food. The waitress/bartender couldn't have been more cheerful or helpful.

This salad was $8- way over priced. Pastas were pretty decent and prices were reasonable for those. Overall it was good.

Service was slow.....menu was limited and very expansive

I came for my family reunion an must say it was a very nice&clean restaurant, the food was amazing an the service was awesome esp the servers that greeted us an made the nite very enjoyable, next time I'm in the Lou Sanfilippos I will go!!!!

A group of us were heading out for a lunch and the place we were going to was closed. Someone in the group suggested we try out JF Sanfilippo's since it was close by. WOW!!! This place was amazing! Reasonable priced, the food was delicious, and the servers and owner were super friendly. We started with toasted ravioli for an appetizer and then salads. I had the Ravioli di Pesci for lunch and looooved it. I can't wait to go back!

Stopped in for dinner at the recommendation of the hotel staff, who told us we would not regret it. BOY WERE THEY RIGHT!The everything from the toasted ravioli to the entrees were out of this world delicious! Desserts were unbelievable. Crystal, our server was awesome. Great food, incredible service and relaxed atmosphere made for a wonderful dining experience.

Ignored from the getgo..nobody was assigned to our table. We had to flag down a waitress who was nice enough to take our order to the kitchen. No drink order asked or taken. Small portions for sure. Left disappointed & hungry!

What an amazing restaurant! I highly recommend this place. Stopped here while staying for a convention. It was a great find and very reasonably priced. Had the Filet and Giuseppe Pasta (a spicy vodka sauce). Rolls were hot out of the oven and homemade. Yum!!! Connie, Peaches and the whole crew were amazing. And... don't forget Mama's homemade cannoli for dessert. I will DEFINITELY be back!

Amazing experience.Incredibly attentive and friendly, the service was top notch. Food was great tasting and pricing was fair. The chef came out to greet us personally and inquire as to our eating preferences and any diet restrictions that we may have.Will be recommending to others and returning in the future!

I play a game when I eat somewhere I haven't been before. I only eat what is recommended. This time I was rewarded with beef medallions with eggplant, marinara, and mozzarella. Side dish of rigatoni with a slightly spicy tomato sauce. Perfecto! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 the meat was cooked perfectly. The staff were very friendly and attentive. A really nice dining experience. Totally worth the slightly higher price. I liked it so much. I asked for my server to surprise me with a desert to take with me, but not tell me what it is. I cannot wait to crack it open and see. I'm very confident it will be tooP notch.

The Guiseppe is to die for. Friendly, cozy environment. Will absolutely be returning. Kudos to the chefs!

Food was tasty but the wait for lunch was much longer than expected. The salad was overly salted. The seafood ravioli was very tasty.

Delicious! Entree (Chicken with Fettuccini Alfredo) and dessert (Tiramisu) were just perfect! Will be back next time in town.

Stopped in for a dinner meal with a party of 8 people. The service was extremely slow and unaccommodating. The food was good but clearly cooled down before it was served to us.I have a feeling it was an "off night" for the venue or our server..

JF's is quite hidden, but quite worth the hunt. I discovered it via Hot Sauce and took my out-of-town brother for some quality dining. After giving our order, the owner came over to introduce himself. We talked for a few minutes, but when he learned I was parked on the street around the corner, he implored me to move into the attached garage and tell the attendant "Joe sent me." It worked like a charm and I was treated to some free, downtown, indoor parking. I took an elevator back to the restaurant. Not too shabby.We continued to experience excellent service throughout the evening, but before leaving the owner came by again to make sure not just the meal was satisfactory, but to make sure my brother was enjoying St. Louis. There's a guy who cares about his customers, I'll be back for sure.

Great fettuccine alfredo and atmosphere! Definitely check it out if you don't know where to eat but in the mood for Italian food while on a road trip to Colorado from North Carolina.

Food was great, but there was literally one waitress who did everything. Seated people, made drinks, took care of every table. She was great, but one person can only do so much.

I hate leaving bad reviews but had a bad enough experience here to do so. It was a busy night but we waited almost an hour and a half for our food. Groups who came after us dined and left before we got our food, one group near us finally gave up and left without being fed. The poor server spilled one of the plates when it was brought out so me and my husband shared my fettuccini. We didn’t even finish because it was sooo salty and watery. Asked for the check and still had to pay for everything but the spaghetti. It was rough and we felt very bad for those waiting on the tables.

An old school vibe with reasonably priced entrees. The staff were very accommodating. Definitely a place to bring a group after meetings or conventions to have some reasonably-priced Italian food and bottles of wine.

Delicious food and wonderful people!!...they treated me like an old friend they hadn't seen in a while. I will definitely visit my new friends Paul and Peaches everytime I visit St Louis. I look forward to it. Go see them!!! They will take great care of you!!!

I have been enjoying this restaurant for 15 years. Food is delicious and the owners are awesome. Wonderful to have the influence of Mama Sanfilippo.

Food in my opinion was over priced and not that great. Lady at the front desk wouldn't sit our group of 7 together. We had to sit at two separate tables that were next to each other but couldn't push them together?? Rest of the staff was very friendly.

I want to thank this restaurant again. My daughter and I were visiting from Phoenix, AZ. We had come to IL to lay my Father’s ashes to rest. We decided on this establishment for dinner. We were by no means disappointed. Our server was excellent and attentive. We ordered Rib Eye steaks and I have to say the best I’ve ever had and I have dined in some very nice fine dining restaurants to know. I had to personally thank the Chef for our wonderful dinner. I will be back the next time I’m in St Louis. I would recommend this place to anyone. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you all again for a fantastic and memorable dinner.

Caesar dressing is great. Ravioli Pesci is outstanding. Service though is the best. Great people. Great prices.

We were promptly greeted and received very friendly service throughout the meal. Prices are very reasonable and the food was very good. The portions were just about perfect, and it really felt like it was made to order and hadn't been heated from a pre-made frozen package unlike most chain restaurants. The dining room was a little outdated and felt a little cramped, but the service and food made up for it.
